Help! I don't have voicemail on my district phone- what should I do?

How do you dial from classroom to classroom?
754-XXX or 777-XXX
How do you dial to reach the office?
From any phone in the school dial 754-3800 or press 0
How do you set up voicemail?
From a Cisco IP Phone press the MESSAGES button or dial 777-0000
Answer the questions asked by the system attendant.
The first time you log in you will be asked:
ID Number (same as your phone extension # not the class room #)
Password (Use temporary password 428428)
Record your name: First Name, Last Name
Record your greeting:
Sample Greeting: Hello this is _____ at the ______ School. I’m not available, but please leave your name, number and a brief message and I’ll return your call.
You will be asked to change your password. Passwords must be between 4 and 8 digits.
The system will NOT accept your extension number as your password.
The system will NOT accept password formats that are sequential such as 4444 or 1234.
You may use your existing password as long as it is not a number pattern that the system will not accept.
TO EXIT SYSTEM: Press *, then “END CALL”
How do you retrieve voicemail?
They will be sent to your district e-mail or you can retrieve them from any Cisco IP phone.
From a Cisco IP Phone press the MESSAGES button or dial 777-0000
Answer the questions asked by the system attendant.
You will be asked:
1. ID Number followed by the #(same as your phone extension not the class room #)
2. Password followed by the #(The password you used when you set up voicemail)
